It's the little things

Querido Esposo,

Son las cosas pequenas, un te quiero, un te amo, un abrazo, un extrano. Un recuerdo para siempre, un beso en la frente es lo mas importante, y es amor, yo lo se. Nada podra igualar tu sencilles. Te amo mi amor para siempre.

It's the little things like dancing in our quaint kitchen together, in my polkadot apron, while making dinner...it's these little things that make me happy. It's those sweet notes on the fridge or on our "Thankful board" that I will cherish forever and speaking in spanish together. It's these little things in our daily life that I never want to be erased from my memory!

Last night was so funny. I met Grant at his work to bring him some dinner and to eat with him. I stayed until he was off. We drove home in separate cars and I followed him. All of the sudden, he began to drive real close to me, rolled down his windows, and turned up the music volume. The radio was blasting in his car and I could hear it in mine. He then began to sing at the top of his lungs to me (keep in mind, this is as we are driving) and starts to dance. It was hilarious! When we finally get home, he is still singing and dancing. He pulls me in and we start dancing in front of our little home. (Our neighbors must think we are nuts...but I love it!)

Another simple thing that we have enjoyed lately is this recipe ::
and those flowers on the table ::

Talk about a delicious breakfast! These are probably the spongiest, fluffiest, melt in your mouth waffles you will ever eat! It makes them even better with fresh Utah peaches on top!

Norwegian Waffles
3 cups flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons sugar
4 tablespoons butter, melted
3 cups milk
4 eggs

Bon appetite!
