1st Year Anniversary Trip

I am in awe that we have hit our first year anniversary already! Time goes by so faster and the older I get, the faster time seems to pass. I married such a fun man. It always seems like he is planning something fun for us to do. He is the vacation planner-not me. He plans every detail.

On the day of our anniversary, we got up early and headed up towards Strawberry to hike Fossil Springs and hopefully see a waterfall at the end of the hike. It was so much fun considering we have always wanted to do this together, even since we were in high school.

Once we reached our final destination, we ate lunch by the waterfall and swam in the cold water. Seriously it was the best. I love beautiful views!

We stayed the night at my Uncle Ron's cabin in Flagstaff. We woke up the next day bright and early, 4:30am, to drive to Cottonwood to go on a hot air balloon ride! 

We can check that off our bucket list! 

It was such great getaway. We had so much fun remembering every detail of our wedding day and the memories leading up to our wedding day. But the memory I will never forget is kneeling across the alter with my husband being sealed for time and all eternity. That moments makes my heart fill with gratitude. That was a wonderful day. 

I love our life together. One year down, eternity to go!
